About Us
Tynagh / Abbey- Duniry GAA Club is a young and active club in existence at adult level since 2002 and at juvenile level since 1996 when the two parishes of Tynagh and Abbey-Duniry joined forces. Located in east Galway mid-way between Loughrea & Portumna this area has a long history in the Gaelic games going back to Galway’s first all-Ireland win. Currently the Club is proud to field at all underage levels as well as Senior and Junior A Hurling
Our Ethos
TAD’s focus is to develop our future players with a good respect, manner and work ethic to be ready for anything on and off the field. Through participation in training and games, they not only obtain a strong character but also make lasting friendship’s.

Over the years we have invested in developing our club grounds to a high standard, 2 full size hurling pitch’s, a sand based fully lit training area and ball wall, Gym, Squash court and fully lit Astro turf.
